Vintage wool blend long black coat academic university gown size M/L with mortar board hat. English, made by J&M Sewing Services, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. 55% Polyester 45% Wool. Maker's label at neck. Collarless, hook to hang, top half is lined, button through, pleat darts at back, dust fringe at hem. Hat thrown in (older). Size: Chest: 48 inches; Sleeve length: 23 inches; arm inseam: 17 inches; Length: 57 inches. Weight: 1.6 kg (allow 3.5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Good vintage condition - one mark at hem which may or may not remove (as shown) but otherwise fine. Great costume (if not to be worn).
