Vintage primitivist oil painting study of wedding scene with soldiers and ladies in uniform. English, circa 1970s. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Depicts wedding scene with soldiers in traditional red tunics and bearskin hats (possibly Queens Guard), ladies in navy blue uniform with red stripe and hats with bows (not entirely sure which uniform this is) and church, vicar and choirboys in background. Naive, primitivist study. Size: 18 x 14 inches. Weight: 550g (allow 3.5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Good vintage condition.
