Vintage original portrait in pastel of girl with white collar by Peter Wardle dated 1983. Signed and dated by the artist. A bit about Peter Wardle: "Wardle studied at Leicester School of Art and the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford. He began his career as a professional portrait painter and sculptor in the 1970s and has work in a number of institutions including the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford and the National Portrait Gallery." (National Portrait Gallery). Size: 21 x 17 inches. Weight: 1.2 kg (allow 3.5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Good condition for its age - painting in good condition; some minor spotting to the card mount but otherwise fine. Frame is more modern. This is a genuine antique original and authentic work of art which I have had remounted in a frame. I do not sell reproductions or fakes.
