Vintage impressionist landscape oil painting study of houses viewed through trees by JE Slater. English, circa 1960s. Actual painting is unsigned but the artist's name is written on reverse. There is also a label which says: "JE Slater, "Winter Reflections" in oil. Member of the Society of Watercolourists, Exhibited in Leicestershire Museum and Gallery". Oil on canvas. Size: 24 x 20 inches. Weight: 945g (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some wear to canvas at corner but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
