Vintage French still life oil painting study of flowers signed Aubeline. French, circa 1970s. Signed by the artist. Post Impressionist in style. Oil on canvas. Framed in an older gilt gesso period frame with with red worn velvet insert. Size of frame: 17.5 x 15.75 inches; Size of canvas: 16.25 x 13 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 13.5 x 11.25 inches. Weight: 1.1 kg (allow 4 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks and scratches and some knocks to and pieces of beading missing from frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged.
