Small antique signed oil painting portrait study of cockerel and chickens (1 of 2). English, circa 1890-1900. Signed by the artist but tricky to decipher signature. Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 14 x 8.75 inches; Size of portrait: 11 x 5.75 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 10.75 x 5.5 inches. Weight: 601g (allow up to 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Reasonable condition for its age - the antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly.
