Unsigned but there is provenance in pencil on reverse: "River Taw near Belstone May 31st 1933 AWG". Oil on canvas. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Slightly Impressionist in style. Size of frame: 9.25 x 8 inches. Size of canvas: 6.75 x 5.25 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 6.5 x 4.75 inches. Weight: 293g (allow 1 kg once packed). Reasonable condition for its age - some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged. Please understand this before committing to buy and it will need to be understood that the buyer accepts this risk if having the item delivered by courier.
