Small antique landscape oil painting of farmyard with cows and chickens. English School, circa 1820-60. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on panel. Gilt frame. Depicts cows and chickens in farmyard. Size of frame: 9.5 inches square; Size of panel: 7.75 inches square; Size of front circular painting aperture: 6.5 inch diameter. Weight: 400g (allow 2 kg once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some minor knocks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly. Best described as shabby chic.
