Small antique French Impressionist still life oil painting study of vase of flowers and bowl. French, circa 1940s. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on panel. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 13.25 x 9 inches; Size of painting: 8.75 x 4.75 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 8.25 x 3.75 inches. Weight: 1.9 kg (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Reasonable condition for its age - some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged.
