Small antique French blue gilt display jewellery stand plateau

Small antique French blue gilt display jewellery stand plateau. French, circa 1890. Solid piece of wood with gilt edging, faded blue silk top and 4 bun feet. Originally a clock base but suitable as a display stand. Size: base: 7.75 x 5 inches; top: 7 x 4.5 inches; height: 2 inches. Weight: 423g (allow 1 kg once packed). Condition commensurate with age - some fading and a tear to top but otherwise fine and all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
