Provenance on reverse: "Pedigree Tamworth sow ... weight 20 stone, property of WD Grant Jires Esq, Bradden House, Towcester, Northants". Oil on board. Gilt frame. Depicts a pedigree Tamworth sow. Size of frame: 17.75 x 14 inches; Size of portrait: 14 x 10 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 13.5 x 9.5 inches. Weight: 1.25 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks and marks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
