Pair of antique Victorian decorative spelter candlesticks. English, circa 1880-1990. Decorative stems with weighted bases. Spelter is an alloy of copper and zinc often used in the 19th century for decorative statues and ornaments. Size: height: 10 inches; base diameter: 4.75 inches. Combined weight: 2.4 kg (allow up to 4 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various marks & scratches but all part of their charm and character. NB: two brand new candles will be included with this purchase.
