Pair antique traditional English brass ale tankards. Circa 1860. Used for drinking ale in traditional English pubs. Thick bases, no markings apparent. Size: base diameter 3.75 inches; top diameter 3.25 inches; height 5 inches. Weight of one tankard 400g; weight of both 800g (allow 2 kg once packed). Reasonable condition for their age - superficial marks & scratches and some minor dings & dents, top rim of one is slightly misshapen but all part of their character.
