Original vintage pencil drawing self portrait of Peter Wardle, British Portrait Painter (born 1929, died recently). Framed drawing by the artist. Unsigned, but came from the estate of the late artist. Size: 19 x 16 inches; weight: 1.6 kg (allow 3kg once packed). A bit about Peter Wardle: "Wardle studied at Leicester School of Art and the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford. He began his career as a professional portrait painter and sculptor in the 1970s and has work in a number of institutions including the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford and the National Portrait Gallery." (National Portrait Gallery). Good condition. NB: Apologies for the slight reflection which is unavoidable when photographing in good light.
