This base would have originally had a glass dome (due to the groove around the edge).
Stands on 3 bun feet.
Size:
Base diameter: 8.25 inches; inner top diameter: 6.5 inches.
Would fit a glass dome (ie middle of groove to middle of groove): 7 inches
Weight: allow 1 kg once packed.
Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches but all part of its charm and character.
The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate.
Priced accordingly.
Best described as shabby chic or faded grandeur.
