Large vintage landscape oil painting study of sheep in decorative frame. English, dated 71 (1971). Signed by the artist. Oil on canvas. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Please note the painting and the frame are in the Victorian style but the painting is a more modern reproduction dated 71 (1971). It has the signature of TS Copper of Derby but it is unlikely to be an original authentic signature. Size of frame: 28.5 x 24.75 inches - heavy; Size of painting: 20 x 16 inches; Size of front painting oval aperture: 19 x 15 inches. Weight: 7.3 kg (allow up to 15 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Although a reproduction, would make a nice interior design piece.
