Large antique vintage Dutch oil painting portrait study of woman gutting fish with cat. Continental, Dutch School. Painted in the style of the Dutch Golden Age but circa 1950/60. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on board. Carved wooden frame. Depicts a kitchen scene with a Dutch woman gutting fish with an interested cat in attendance. Size of frame: 29 x 23.75 inches; Size of portrait: 24.25 x 19.25 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 24 x 18.5 inches. Weight: 2.9 kg (allow up to 10 kg once packed). Reasonable vintage condition - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
