Large antique Victorian Toleware writing box with partitioned lift out tray by S Barker, Wolverhampton. English, 19th Century. Original paintwork on exterior and blue interior with lift out partitioned tray. Brass handles and maker's name "S Barker, Wolverhampton" on inside brass lock. Key present. Size: 16.25 x 11.25 x 6.5 inches. Weight: 4.8 kg (allow up to 10 kg volumetric weight once packed). Tatty, worn condition, commensurate with age and use - various marks and scratches and no key but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Great display item or prop (if not to be used).
