Large antique Victorian oil painting study of terrier dogs worrying a cat attributed Edward Armfield. English, circa 1860-90. Unsigned but attributed to Edward Armfield (British, 1817-1896). Oil on canvas. Gilt frame (more modern). Size of frame: 27.5 x 24 inches; Size of canvas: 24.5 x 20 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 23.5 x 19.5 inches. Weight: 2 kg (allow 8 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some damage to canvas with several repairs to reverse but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
