Large antique study of a cavalry horse by Vereker Monteith Hamilton. English, circa 1900. Signed with artist's monogram VMH. The artist is Vereker Monteith Hamilton ((1856-1931). Oil on canvas. Depicts a cavalry horse. Size: 44 x 36 inches. Weight: 2.8 kg (allow up to 15 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some areas of damage to the canvas with several repairs to reverse but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Best described as shabby chic.
