Large antique Scottish river landscape oil painting with angler (1 of 2). British, Scottish, circa 1890-1900. Signed by the artist but tricky to decipher signature. Oil on canvas. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 28 x 22 inches; Size of canvas: 22 x 16 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 18.25 x 12.5 inches. Weight: 4.3 kg (allow up to 10 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, minor craquelure and some minor knocks to frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
