Large antique river landscape oil painting of cottages and cows. English School, circa 1900. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on board. Gilt frame. Depicts a a river landscape with cottages on the bank and cows in the shallows - a bucolic scene. Size of frame: 27 x 21 inches; Size of painting: 21 x 14.5 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 18 x 12 inches. Weight: 4.3 kg (allow up to 10 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
