Large antique French rustic wooden chopping board. French country piece. Made of beech. Heavy duty. One off piece. Size: length (incl handle): 27.5 inches; length (excl handle): 19 inches; width: 15 inches; depth: 2.25 inches. Weight: 6.2 kg (allow 10 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - lots of wear, particularly to handle and corners, various marks & scratches, cracks and woodworm holes but all part of its rustic charm and character. The antique wood of this item has had a woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate Priced accordingly. Best described as shabby chic. A no nonsense piece. Would look great in any rustic country kitchen or great prop.
