Large antique French oil painting portrait of a dignatory signed Delamotte. French, circa 1890-90. Signed by the artist (on reverse). Depicts a French dignatory called Freidrich de Groose (name written on reverse). Oil on canvas. Size: 25.5 x 21 inches. Weight: 946g (allow 8 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some minor restoration but all part of its charm and character. The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly.
