Large antique coastal seascape marinescape of Hull 1868 attributed to Henry Redmore. English, dated 1868. Actual painting is unsigned but attributed to Henry Redmore (1820-1887). Some provenance on reverse, handwritten attribution and description; "off Hull dated 1868." Oil on canvas. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 31.5 x 24 inches; Size of canvas: 24 x 16 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 22.75 x 15 inches. Weight: 2.75 kg (allow up to 15 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame. Priced accordingly.
