Waistband, with a section of intricate handgathering, waist ties, press stud fastening at top, lace trim and silk covered button decoration, dust trim at hem - nice detail.
This type of skirt would have been worn for Sunday best in Holland. It has been cut down the sides to make a more versatile apron.
