Antique wooden oblong clock dome base or jewellery display stand plateau with faded blue top. French, circa 1890. This base would have originally had a glass dome (due to the groove around the edge). Size of base: 13 x 6.5 inches; Would fit a glass dome (ie middle of groove to middle of groove): 12.25 x 5.5 inches Weight: 391g (allow 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various marks & scratches and the blue top is worn and faded but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
