Antique wooden carved Pitcairn Island vase. Made on the Pitcairn Islands, of 'Mutiny on the Bounty fame'. The descendants of the mutiny have historically made these distinctive hand-carved vessels. Hand holding a cup design. "Pictairn Island" embossed on side. Size: Diameter: 2.75 inches; height: 6.25 inches. Weight: 200150g (allow up to 1 kg once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks & scratches and some minor wear to top edge ie small crack and a couple of nibbles but otherwise fine and all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
