Antique vintage original watercolour design for a Christmas card with rabbit by Mary Brooks. English, circa 1950s. Original watercolour artwork by Mary Brooks. Mary Brookes was a British illustrator, most noted for her illustrations for nursery books (and some of the Noddy books). Unsigned but came from a portfolio of her work with other signed cards, books and illustrations. Depicts a rabbit and blackberries. "Christmas Greetings" on the front and "To wish you happiness in the New Year" inside with pencil illustration. Size: 6 x 5 inches. Weight: allow up to 1 kg once packed. Good vintage condition.
