Mary Brookes was a British illustrator, most noted for her illustrations for nursery books (and some of the Noddy books). Unsigned but came from a portfolio of her work with other signed cards, books and illustrations. Depicts a mole with floral bonnet and specs, bird with top hat and hillock. For a 5 yr old. Verse underneath. Size: 7.5 x 5.5 inches. Weight: allow up to 1 kg once packed. Good vintage condition.
