Antique vintage French still life oil painting study of game bird signed Wipliez. French School, circa 1960s. Signed by the artist. Oil on board. Wooden carved frame. Depicts a dead game bird. Size of frame: 21.5 x 18.25 inches; Size of board: 17 x 13.25 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 16 x 12.5 inches. Weight: 1.7 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and significant craquelure, particularly in bottom lefthand corner, and some minor knocks to frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
