Antique Victorian writing box - restoration project.
English, circa 1890-1900.
Wooden veneer, brass inlay, slope, pen tray.
Size: 13.75 x 9.25 x 5 inches.
Weight: 2.4 kg (allow up to 5 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks & scratches, lots of scuffs and missing inlay, lid escutcheon missing and no key. Interior blue baize lining is tatty and pen tray is also missing.
Priced accordingly.
Best described as shabby chic. A restoration job for someone with time on their hands.
