Antique Victorian watercolour painting portrait study of sheepdogs signed E Kennard 1859. English, dated 1859. Signed by the artist. Watercolour on parchment. Wooden carved frame. Depicts a couple of sheepdogs. Size of frame: 20 x 17 inches; Size of back of portrait: 16.5 x 14 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 13 x 10.5 inches. Weight: 1.2 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to frame but all part of its charm and character. The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly.
