Antique Victorian signed landscape oil painting of cottage with pond, sheep and chickens.English, mid-Victorian, circa 1840-60.Signed by the artist in bottom lefthand corner but tricky to decipher.Oil on canvas.Depicts a rural scene - thatched cottage, mill pond in foreground with mother and child, sheep and chickens.Size: 24 x 16 inches.Weight: 900g (allow 4 kg volumetric weight once packed).Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and please note the original canvas has been remounted onto a canvas backing as part of a restoration. Priced accordingly.
