Antique Victorian river landscape oil painting signed LB Hurt. English, circa 1856-1929. Signed by the artist, Louis Bosworth Hurt (British, 1856-1929). Oil on board. Ebonised wooden frame. Size of frame: 16.5 x 12.5 inches; Size of painting: 16 x 11.25 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 13.75 x 9.75 inches. Weight: 1.19 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some minor knocks to frame but all part of its charm and character. The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly.
