Antique Victorian oil painting study of nunnery or hospital garden. English School, circa 1890. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Depicts a monastery asylum or hospital garden with a nurse and nun taking a turn, gardener with scythe and various patients sitting around statue. Chapel in background. Size: 27 x 15.5 inches. Weight: 1.3 kg (allow 7.5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - please note the canvas has been relined onto new backing at some point in its life. Priced accordingly.
