Antique Victorian oil painting study of a street seller. English, dated 89 (1889). Signed with artist's monogram AW. Oil on canvas. Gilt frame. Depicts a street scene with lady in red headscarf selling hot drinks to a paper boy. Size of frame: 14.5 x 11.5 inches; Size of canvas: 12 x 9 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 11.5 x 8.5 inches. Weight: 631g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure, a small area of damage to canvas with a repair to reverse, some minor restoration and some knocks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
