Antique Victorian oil painting portrait study of two gentlemen collectors dated 1892. English, dated 1892. Signed with artist's monogram, FF. Oil on panel. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts a couple of gentleman collectors. Size of frame: 19.5 x 16 inches; Size of panel: 12 x 9 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 11.5 x 8.5 inches. Weight: 3.1 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Reasonable condition for its age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure, some minor restoration and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
