Antique Victorian oil painting portrait study of children playing by cottage in woods. English School, circa 1900-10. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Wooden ebonised frame. Size of frame: 16.5 x 13 inches; Size of canvas: 15 x 11 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 14.5 x 10.5 inches. Weight: 707g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure, lots of marks to gilt inner frame and lots of knocks to and pieces missing from outer ebonised frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
