Antique Victorian long handled copper bed pan warmer

Antique Victorian long handled copper bed pan warmer. English, circa 1820-60. Hinged copper pans on long turned wooden handles. Used to warm beds (by putting fire embers in the copper pans). Size: Length: 41.5 inches; Diameter: 11 inches. Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks & scratches, dings & dents, well used. Please note this particular bedpan does not detach from the handle so more difficult and expensive to post abroad - collection recommended. Priced accordingly. Great display item or prop.
