Antique Victorian Gothic brass Bible stand IHS Boy Scouts Assoc. English, circa 1880. Gothic style with weighted base and religious IHS motif engraved in centre, engraved on base as follows: "Presented by the O.B. Assn I.B. Club and Boy Scouts of Holy Trinity Sloane Street". Originally used as a Bible stand but can be used as a bookstand for any books - ideal cookery book stand. Size: Height: 9.5 inches; width 12 inches; base diameter: 5.5 inches. Weight: 3.2 kg (allow up to 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and the patination to brass is in its original state but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
