Antique Victorian framed cross stitch embroidery of family in rowing boat. English, circa 1860-80. Cross stitch embroidery in elaborate gilt gesso glazed frame. Size of frame: 16 x 14.5 inches. Size of front aperture: 12.25 x 11 inches. Weight: 1.16 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - some wear and damage to embroidery and lots of cracks, knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Apologies for light reflection in photos. NOTE: collection recommended. I am willing to post, and will pack well, but please understand that it is inevitable that some of the plaster decoration will be dislodged as it is fragile. It has to be understood, therefore, that all risk of damage must rest with the buyer. Therefore, no returns can be accepted for this reason.
