Antique Victorian cast spelter statue

Antique Victorian cast spelter statue. English, circa 1880. Mounted on metal plinth. Original paintwork. There is no maker's mark or name that indicates who this gentleman is but possibly a historical figure. He was originally holding something in his hand but this has unfortunately snapped off and is now missing. Size: Height: 14.5 inches; Base diameter: 5.25 inches. Weight: 1.44 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and knocks and now missing whatever he was holding in his hand but otherwise ok and all part of his charm and character. Priced accordingly.
