Antique Toleware tin box of misc scientific items. English, 19th Century. Metal handles, divided interior with misc scientific items including ground glass lid/stopper (broken edges), ceramic inkwell, lidded pots, ceramic artist's mixing palette, ceramic half egg, glass pot, test tube, misc strips of dental teeth, lens, brass instrument, pencil. Size: 10 x 7 x 4 inches. Weight: 1.7 kg (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks and scratches, lots of corrosion, lid is damaged at corner and is not a great fit and no key but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
