Antique Toleware strong box cash box by Chatham & Sons, Wolverhampton. English, dated 1915. Maker's stamp and date on inside lid. Decoration on all sides, brass swing handle, lift out tray with divided interior and hinged compartment in base, no key. Size: 10 x 6.5 x 4.75 inches. Weight: 2.6 kg (allow up to 5 kg volumetric weight once packed) - heavy. Condition commensurate with age and use - various marks and scratches and no key but nevertheless a lovely box and all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
