Antique taxidermy preserved horse hoof inkwell. English, circa 1900-20 Maker and taxidermist unknown - no maker's mark apparent. Brass top with silver plated top surround and decorative hammered brass band. Size: height: 4 inches; length: 6 inches; width: 4.25 inches. Weight: allow 1 kg once packed. Condition commensurate with age and use - various marks & scratches, the original glass inkwell is now missing and the hinge needs a repair but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
