Antique taxidermy preserved horse hoof dated 22 July 1900. English, dated 22 July 1900. Maker and taxidermist unknown. Silver plated horseshoe and brass top engraved as follows: "Kathleen died through fire aged 10 years July 22nd 1900" - probably refers to a horse called Kathleen that was used by the fire service. Size: height: 4 inches; length of shoe: 5 inches; width: 5 inches. Weight: 976g (allow up to 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks & scratches but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
