Antique taxidermy mounted head of a Transcaspian Urial by van Ingen 1942 - UK only or ask for quote. Mounted by Indian firm of Van Ingen of Mysore. Maker's embossed mark on reverse. Marked "Chunda Abbas 1942 M.P.O 'C.T." on wooden plaque (nice provenance). Size: Height of plaque: 19 inches; width of plaque: 13.25 inches; Width of horns: 27 inches; Curled horn length: 30 inches; Depth from wall: 18 inches. Weight: heavy - collection from Brockley, London SE4 or please ask for a quote via Mailboxes or similar but it will be very expensive to send abroad. Condition: some damage, commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches to plaque and some superficial damage but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
