Antique taxidermy mounted head of a dwarf forest buffalo by E Gerrard dated 1908. Mounted by English firm of Gerrard & Sons, London (shape of plaque denotes the taxidermist). Marked "Buffalo, Bahr-El-Ghazal, 1908, EPB" on wooden plaque (nice provenance). Size: Large. Weight: (allow up to 15 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition: some damage, commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches to plaque and some damage to the eye area (cracks) but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Collection only from Brockley, London SE4 or you are welcome to arrange your own courier. Please note this item will NOT be packed up so please arrange an Anyvan courier (or similar) that can see the ebay item number. Please do not arrange for a commercial courier to collect as they will refuse to take it if it is not packed up.
