Antique still life oil painting study of pheasant, turbot and lobster signed R Mayers. English, circa 1900. Signed by the artist (on barrel). Oil on canvas. Walnut frame. Kitchen scene of a larder or cupboard with pheasants hanging and turbot/flounder and lobster. Size of frame: 15.25 x 13 inches; Size of canvas: 12 x 10 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 11.5 x 9.5 inches. Weight: 726g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks and scratches and a small area of damage to canvas with a small repair to reverse but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
